We created this portal for doctors managing COVID patients. While those on the ground are managing clinical challenges, practice guidelines are being developed, enriched, and enhanced daily. This portal is focused on sharing realtime expertise across boundaries during these crises. It is nonprofit & non-commercial.

Background

This nonprofit, non-commercial, inclusive initiative is meant to provide the doctors and the healthcare a real-time collaboration and exchange of knowledge and expertise between across geographies. As we all know, COVID-19 is fast spreading and medical professionals are challenged with the rapidly changing and fast evolving guidelines, best practices, and standards of care. This Nonprofit organization is meant to fulfill that gap by providing a one stop shop for all the needs in realtime during the care of COVID patients.

Our Ethical Values

This Humane nonprofit activity is focused to exclusively transfer realtime knowledge and expertise between doctors across the globe who are committed to treating all patients equally, regardless of religion, country, ethnicity, gender, race, language, or ideological affiliations, ability to pay, social class, education, race, or suspicion of criminality etc. It is non-commercial in intent. Discussion on this forum will be based on Evidence-Based Medicine, except for the section on Alternative Medicine, which will be monitored by the ethical committee. We will be product agnostic, ie. we will not promote any products unless those are established by well-proven research such as randomized, blinded trials. We will exclude any conspiracy theories and anything that will widen the chasm between 'We the People'. While social and economic issues impact health, except for medical aspects, we will keep it out of the purview of this forum. All financial transactions will be disclosed on a regular interval.

Conflict of Interests


Further to this, if a conflict of interests arises, members will disclose it to the ethical committee. The ethical committee will review and recommend appropriate disposition. The ethical committee will review the Ethical Code of Conduct and will be open to a third party review. We will maintain transparency with our values and be accountable and auditable in our pursuit in our selfless service
and commitment towards our ethical values.

Revision Policy

Also, understanding the external situation, and our formative stages, we will review and update this Code of Conduct as required and share across the organization. Use of this portal or any of its features or services admits to your acceptance of these conditions. While exchanging knowledge, we will abide by ‘The World Medical Association Declaration of Geneva’ and other relevant declarations. These Code of Conduct are subject to amendment or modification at any time by the ABA.
